Nitrates in Fresno’s Drinking Water

I have long been concerned about the level of nitrates in Fresno and the Salinas Valley drinking water supplies. Nitrates are dangerous at levels far below those allowed by EPA or the State of California. You can read my previous post on this topic below.

A University of California, Davis study suggests that half of the 2.6 million people who live in California’s agricultural heartland drink water with nitrates in excess of federal and state standards. The study also predicts that the situation will get worse.

The point I’d like to make is that drinking this water is a serious health risk and people should take action. You can eliminate nitrates from drinking water with Sweetwater’s custom reverse osmosis system. There is no better reverse osmosis system on the market today.

I’ve been warning people about exposure to nitrates for many years now. Personally, I wouldn’t want to bathe in water containing nitrates either. Whole house water purification systems for nitrates are available but costly. Where money is an issue your focus should be on removing it from your drinking water.

If you need help, call me and we’ll determine the best course of action for your family.
